Model 5100 Automation Controller
The 5100 series is part of Control Technology Corporation's Blue Fusion Family of web based controllers, combining fully configurable digital and analog I/O for up to 48 points, up to 6-1/2 axes of motion control and enterprise connectivity into a single compact package — at a price that's lower than many non-networking controllers. With built-in 10/100 Base T Ethernet, the Model 5100 supports CTC's binary protocol over TCP/IP and UDP, as well as Modbus/TCP. Also supported are such features as:
- multitasking, up to 84 tasks
- Input-linkable counters
- High-speed encoder input
- RS-232 and RS-485 ports

Model 5200 Automation Controller
The Blue Fusion 5200 is a high performance programmable automation controller designed for industrial discrete and process control applications. CTC’s award winning Blue Fusion controllers combine the features of a PLC, motion controller and PC into a small DIN rail mountable package. The controller can be used in a stand-alone configuration or it can be easily networked via its serial and LAN connections. The built-in web server makes internet or intranet access very easy. For larger applications the 5200 supports up to three expansion racks allowing over 192 I/O points to be managed by a single system.
Depending on the application the 5200 can be configured as remote I/O using a variety of standard protocols including Modbus®, or it can be programmed to independently control complex real-time applications. The 5200 features a proven multi-tasking real-time operating system with plenty of non-volatile memory. Programming the 5200 is simple with CTC’s intuitive Quickstep state language or for advanced applications use C/ C++. You can even combine both languages in a single application. To learn more about the 5200 explore the links above or contact CTC for a demonstration.
